Representation of Union Members

Union members can face unique legal issues arising from events that happen on the job. For almost 25 years, my office has been helping working men and women who have suffered injuries on the job, termination of employment or reduction in pay and benefits, and other problems. Special issues arise in these circumstances for union members and their families. Some of the common issues that arise can include:

  • What sources of income are available to me if I have been injured on the job?
  • What benefits cover me if I become disabled?
  • If my employer terminates my job, what is the appropriate remedy?
  • What is the obligation of my union representative to assist me?

My office has assisted members of unions representing the interests of carpenters, ironworkers, laborers, nurses, health care workers, telecommunications workers, government workers, electrical workers, plumbers and pipefitters, transit workers, police officers, teamsters, and other unions.

Frequently, we work together with union counsel, to help assure maximum benefits to the union members and their families. We can help injured union members coordinate benefits from Social Security, Workers' Compensation, employer-funded disability plans, union disability plans, health insurance plans, and other sources.

We provide legal services to union members and their families. Please call for no-fee interview, to see if we can be of assistance.
