Attorney Eric Finamore has extensive experience in appellate law. He works throughout Boston and Eastern Massachusetts, including Essex and Middlesex counties, and accepts referrals from fellow lawyers in almost all areas of civil litigation. He has participated in published opinions in areas relating to:

• Employment, including employment contracts
• Insurance disputes, including insurance coverage, ERISA claims, insurance agent liability, unemployment insurance appeals, etc.
• Personal injury, including slip and fall cases
• Workers' compensation
• Jurisdiction of out-of-state defendants

In one notable appellate court case, he represented the widow of a 70-year-old who was run over by a tractor-trailer. The original lawsuit was against the tractor trailer company and the insurance agent who had inadequately insured the truck.

The case was originally dismissed because the court said that our client had no case against the insurance agent. Mr. Finamore brought the case to the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, which overturned the dismissal and allowed our client to bring a claim for underinsuring the trucking company.

More than 20 Years of Experience

Eric Finamore has spent more than 20 years working almost exclusively as a trial lawyer. At this time, around 95% of his caseload is devoted to litigation and appeals of all kinds. He works on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.

Mr. Finamore is a member of Weston, Patrick, Willard & Redding, P.A., a professional association which has over a dozen members and comprises an office of 20 attorneys.
